directions link. Once on campus drive south on Brainard Street, once you cross Chicago Avenue you will begin to see all of our athletic facilities. First is our newly built Res/Rec building, second is our nostalgic Merner Field House, and lastly is our newly renovated Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.

Tailgating: We understand that tailgating is an important part of the spectator experience and at times individuals/groups are interested in holding picnics on campus. North Central College's tailgating & picnicking guidelines identified below are designed to enhance your safety, ensure that tailgating remains a part of the North Central College spectator experience for years to come, and to allow guests to picnic on campus (with prior permission from the College).
- In consideration of College neighbors and residence hall residents, tailgating may only occur between the hours of 10 a.m. and up to 2 hours after the conclusion of the game, but no later than 10 p.m. Tailgating is only allowed in designated tailgating areas on campus.
- Tailgaters and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a manner respectful of the nature and character of the College. Individuals acting in a disruptive or disrespectful manner may be asked to leave the premises by the College’s Campus Safety Officers. North Central College students may also be charged with a violation of the Student Handbook.
- Alcohol is not permitted in public areas outside of designated tailgating on campus property. No drinks or containers are allowed inside the stadium. Individuals under the age of 21 are prohibited from consuming alcohol on College property.
- Marijuana and illegal substances are prohibited on College property. North Central College is a tobacco free campus.
- Do not block any vehicle into a parking space or block any driveways and vehicle paths. Please ensure that emergency vehicles have clear access to all parking lots at all times.
- No kegs are allowed.
- Charcoal/gas grilling is permitted but extreme caution should be used. All lit charcoal should be extinguished prior to safe and proper disposal. No deep fryers or open fire pits are allowed.
- Tents (10 x 10 or smaller) are allowed,
- Please clean the area and recycle when the game/picnic is over by placing trash in appropriate receptacles provided. Please ensure the area is clean and orderly upon your departure.
- No unauthorized sales activities are allowed on North Central College’s campus.
North Central College promotes a family atmosphere at all athletic events. Please be respectful of other tailgaters nearby. As Cardinal fans, we rely on you to follow the College’s tailgating policies and help ensure their adherence with those around you. Campus Safety will monitor activities and enforce College policies as needed. Conduct: Individuals attending events at North Central College are expected to conduct themselves in a manner respectful of the nature and character of the college. Persons acting in a disruptive, disrespectful, or disorderly manner may be asked to leave the premises or be subject to arrest. An individual may also be denied access to the athletic facilities should they act in a manner deemed inappropriate by North Central College.
